The OFF-ice

The project explores the deconstruction of a modular system, inspired by the logic of the Rubik's Cube, to create a dynamic and flexible architectural hub. Breaking down traditional boundaries lets spatial attributes evolve through the interaction of modular units — a strong, flexible base that stays open to reorganization.

A multi-functional hub houses offices, networking spaces, gym facilities and food & beverage outlets. At its heart a central amphitheatre fosters collaboration, wrapped by a double-height atrium and crowned with a skylight cracked at the centre to open the space to the sky.

Externally the building reads as a collection of discrete volumes — many buildings in appearance, one unified structure in reality. A slit-scan facade visually deconstructs the massing into a fragmented yet cohesive skin.
