The design is inspired by the sea shells and corals of the Arabian Gulf — the living tapestry that stitches Saudi Arabia's coasts together. Resilient against heat, salinity and time, the branching, porous structures of corals become symbols of interconnection, shelter and diversity.

Drawing from their organic geometries, textures and gradients, the pavilions rise from the ground with interiors lined in patterns drawn from the rhythms of the reef. Interactive touch screens invite visitors to explore stories of Saudi Arabia's past, present and future.

Surrounding the pavilions, the master plan integrates a dedicated play area — a joyful zone that celebrates youth and children as the next custodians of culture. The goal is an experience where people do not simply observe but engage and discover.
